In case anyone was wondering if I would be buying an iPhone, there’s a really short answer. Until I can get one without interacting with AT&T, no way.
AT&T is by any definition of the term, an evil company. And any iPhone users can expect to have all of your voice calls and data usage secretly and illegally handed off to whatever government office wants it this week without regard to your privacy, rights or the law. No phone is cool enough to justify paying those bastards one red cent, and you couldn’t pay me enough to use their network.
From what I’ve read, some people are saying the iPhone doesn’t have a replaceable sim card. So until T-Mobile offers them sometime down the road, I probably won’t have one for a while.
