I wrote yesterday that I thought I may have dropped one of my lenses while shooting the Strand show last night. Indeed I had. I called them up, talked to one of the bartenders, and she said she had found it and I could come in and grab it.
After work I went over, grabbed it and dropped $20 on her for being a good person, and not, you know throwing it on ebay or something.
Replacement for the 200GB western digital is on its way. I really like how drive manufacturers handle their warranty claims. Fill out a form online, put in a credit card if you want an advance exchange, and it’s shipped out. The line for explaining the problem is 30 characters. They don’t care what’s wrong with it. Awesome.
