So Kelli got offered a job at my current employer for a nice increase in bread and a lot of benefits she currently doesn’t get. Needless to say, she’s bailing on the dentist and movin’ on up. Don’t know if we’ll get to carpool as I don’t really work standard hours, but it’s a short drive anyway. At least she won’t have to get up at 5am anymore.
I might be getting down with the folks at TUAW. I’ll be talking with Judith Meskill at some point soon about the details and what all is involved and what their expectations are. While most of the more technical stuff I write about is inappropriate for TUAW, I’d like to do some product reviews, events coverage and perhaps some day to day commentary about the macosphere. Hell what’s one more blog to post to? Especially if I’m getting paid for it.
Technically, that’s one of the reasons I’d like to do it. Jason Calacanis is doing a good job monetizing blogs without being evil about it and I’d like some exposure to that side of things. Of course raising my own profile in the mac community could arguably be a good thing as well.
Barb Dybwad is a freaking machine when it comes to posting day to day stuff over there, so it may take a little bit to find a niche. But we’ll see how it goes. It may not even pan out. I’ll keep you updated.
