So Mena over at Sixapart has posted an entry asking MT users to post how they use MT, and trackback to her post. Sixapart is doing this to gather information “…on scenarios that can help shape changes in the licensing”
I don’t mean to beat a dead horse here, sixapart is already paying for their mistakes with a mass exodus to WordPress. But it really raises the question: Why didn’t they do this before creating new licensing schemes? Did they really not talk to any of their current licensees about possible changes? Did they do no research into how their new licenses would impact their user base?
