Welp, I’m back. Tonight has been an aggressive update effort to my Linode VPS to bring this bloggy-blog back to life. SSL cert renewed, Ubuntu up to date, WordPress at a yet to be exploitable release number.
For the past *mumble, mumble* years I’ve let this domain rot while Facebook began to consume all social interaction blogs like this used to provide. No more I say!
In the new age of “fact checking”, feed manipulation and account deactivation, it has become an untenable situation. Facebook is quickly becoming a read-only medium for me, and any new posts will likely point here. A similar policy will likely follow with Twitter.
I’m working on figuring out how to import from both platforms and shockingly, it’s not easy. Stay tuned my friends.
