Dear Phoenix Gas Retailers
I just want to personally thank you for keeping gas prices artificially inflated. There was a time when Flagstaff gas prices were consistently higher than Phoenix. No more! Now they’re routinely 5-10 cents cheaper per gallon. But the coup de grace: while in LA last weekend, I learned that they also have gas for around 10 cents cheaper than most places in phoenix.

California has insane state taxes on gas, and it should always be more expensive than Phoenix. Why isn’t it? Because our Mayor and Governor won’t crack down on “enterprising” retailers.
Vegas, Salt Lake, Denver and Albuquerque are all cheaper.
