Reorganizing

I’ve tried a lot of different schemes for keeping track of data while I’m on the go. When I was in high school, I always had a notepad on me. When I was 20, I had one of the first palm pilots which I used religiously for years. Now that the volume

Just get it done

A productive weekend indeed!

Friday night found me lounging. I was sleepy. No going out or doing anything fun.

Saturday morning I headed in for training and a Kusari Fundo seminar. For some reason, I managed to inherit the Big Swede’s neck crick, which was sort of a pain in the ass all weekend

Bad News

Bad news for everyone in the world. The CIA can kidnap you and torture you for 5 months regardless of your citizenship, or where you currently are in the world. And there’s not a goddamned thing you can do about it since our rendition programs are a state secret and therefore not subject

The original plan was to install Solaris on my rig and play around with Sun’s neato ZFS. Unfortunately, Solaris had no driver support for either of

A Couple of Fun Days

For Cinco De Mayo, Kelli and I hung out with Michael and Lori from the dojo. We got some sushi, then headed back to their place for daquris and penuckle. Good times.

Saturday we hung out with Doug and his spawn and went over some software options for his upcoming

My Weird Body

I have long nursed a case of chronic tendentious in my right elbow, which among other things make excises like bench presses really annoying.

This afternoon it’s been acting up badly, like when I reach up to scratch my head, I bend my elbow and it hurts like hell. I was thinking I was going
